Biom\u00fcxt\u0259liflik Yer planetind\u0259ki h\u0259yat\u0131n n\u00f6v \u00e7ox\u00e7e\u015fidliliyinin ham\u0131s\u0131 (bitki, heyvan v\u0259 s.) onlar\u0131n m\u00fchitin\u0259 aiddir. Konvensiyan\u0131n \u0259sas v\u0259zif\u0259si bioloji m\u00fcxt\u0259lifliyin yaln\u0131z beyn\u0259lxalq \u0259m\u0259kda\u015fl\u0131q yolu il\u0259 xilas\u0131n\u0131n m\u00fcmk\u00fcnl\u00fcy\u00fcd\u00fcr.
