It is about perception as it includes a seeing and understanding process. There are situations where an individual\u2019s expressing a simple concept with another concept is more important than its explanation. In this respect, it is a powerful process of making sense.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through metaphor study, it has been tried to understand how the concept of \u201cMetaverse\u201d, which has emerged as a new concept, is perceived by individuals in the initial stage, which we call the steps of \u201cunderstanding, explaining and applying\u201d. In the study conducted with 165 participants, the phenomenology design, which is suitable for qualitative research, was used in order to obtain results for understanding and recognizing the thoughts on the concept of \u201cMetaverse\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although the \u201cMetaverse\u201d may seem like a stand-alone concept, it can actually be said to be an ecosystem. Metaverse, as a concept that is built on many concepts and interpreted as beyond reality, has become controversial today, with Facebook\u2019s name being \u201cMeta\u201d. Thus, it has become important how individuals interpret and perceive the concept of Metaverse with these discussions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The research group consisted of 165 participants of various ages who participated in the training called \u201cSodimer Metaverse School\u201d, which was held in 2022, between 14 March and 11 April, which lasted for 4 weeks and 12 lessons. 49% Male (n=81), 51% Female (n=84) participants participated in the study.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the research process, the participants who participated in the Metaverse School Training were given online training. At the end of the training, data were collected by asking each individual to complete the sentence \u201cMetaverse is similar to \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026, because \u2026\u2026..\u201d with an open-ended question through a form. This form was initially applied to a group of 15 people. In line with the results obtained from this application, the form was rearranged and the time to be given to the group was determined.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A written form was sent to the participants via e-mail at the end of the training. After the form was distributed, the participants were also given information about the phenomenon of metaphor, and a few examples were given to activate their minds. Thus, they were asked to express their perceptions with the sentence in the form by directing them to the concept of Metaverse as a single-concept.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the results of the research; 70 valid metaphors were produced for the concept of Metaverse in which people study. The common features of these metaphors were examined and it was revealed that they were grouped under 4 categories. These categories are as follows: (1) Abstraction, (2) Technological, (3) Fictional, (4) Vital. The distribution of the metaphors produced for the aforementioned categories was carried out. As a result of this study, it was revealed that the concept of Metaverse was loaded with meanings to be included in the \u201cAbstraction\u201d category. Among the other categories, it was seen that there were more concepts in the \u201cAbstraction\u201d category (58.7%), and it was determined that 97 people produced 27 different concepts. Some examples are as follows: \u201cThe Metaverse is like dreams. Because it is both the symptoms of our subconscious and a design environment that we know we are in control of.\u201d, \u201cThe Metaverse is like a parallel universe, because we can experience other lives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">22 people expressed Metaverse with technological concepts and produced 7 different concepts. The rate of definition of the concept with technological metaphors was 13.3%. Accordingly, the concepts in this category; It has been determined as \u201cNew internet (9), Digital game (7), Simulation (1), PlayStation (1), Facebook (1), Decentralized (1), Virtual Reality (2)\u201d. Some expressions in this category are as follows: \u201cMetaverse is like a simulation because it is not real.\u201d, \u201cIt is similar to Facebook because it is the continuation of Facebook.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It has been seen that fictional metaphors for the concept of Metaverse have also been produced. Accordingly, it was revealed that 23 participants produced 17 different metaphors. Among other categories, fictional expressions were found at 13.9%. Fictional concepts included; \u201cMatrix (1), Virtual Planet (2), Teleportation (1), Duplication (1), Inception Movie (1), Twin Life (1), Fictional Universe (1), Phoenix (1), Immortality (1), Superhero (1), Black Hole (1), Back to the Future Movie (1), New Life (1), Immortal (1), Utopia (6), Beyond the Universe (1), Bottomless Pit (1)\u201d. Some fictional expressions attributed by the participants to the concept of Metaverse are as follows: \u201cWe can say that the Metaverse is like teleportation. Because you can reach wherever you want whenever you want from your own space.\u201d, \u201cMetaverse is like the immortality elixir in fairy tales, because it is possible to experience even the most extreme possibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It has been observed that 23 participants produced 23 different concepts for Metaverse in the \u201cVital\u201d category. Thus, among the other categories, 13.9% of the vital concepts were produced, and it was observed that some of them were concrete and some of them were vital concepts in the form of natural events. Vital concepts included; Mirror (1), Sun (2), Wind (1), Vehicle (1), Sleeping Pill (1), Puzzle (1), Poison (1), Sharp Knife (1), Market (1), Lego (1 ), Matryoshka (1), Real Interaction (1), Drugs (1), Fun (1), Life (1), Onion (1), Mars (1), Ocean (2), Uncharted Continent (1), Continent (1), Sea (1). Some vital expressions attributed by the participants to the concept of Metaverse are as follows: \u201cThe Metaverse is like the Sun because the Earth turns around it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a result, the expression \u201cmeta-universe\u201d has a great place in people\u2019s minds. And it has been observed that it is in the top three in the ranking in which metaphors such as \u201cparallel universe\u201d (11.5%) and \u201cvirtual universe\u201d (10.3%) is included. In the research, it is noteworthy that technological metaphors are produced at a minimum rate for a meta-universe that may arise with the necessity of technology infrastructure. This once again reveals the necessity of explaining the concept of Metaverse correctly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><strong>\u00d6zet. <\/strong>Metafor, bir kavram\u0131n bireyin zihninde olu\u015fturdu\u011fu anlam ya da kavramsal ifade bi\u00e7imidir. Bireyin basit bir kavram\u0131, ba\u015fka bir kavramla ifade etmesi, a\u00e7\u0131klamas\u0131ndan daha \u00f6nemli oldu\u011fu durumlar vard\u0131r. Bu y\u00f6n\u00fcyle g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir anlamland\u0131rma s\u00fcrecidir ve ki\u015finin deneyimlerini de i\u00e7erdi\u011finden, alg\u0131sal durumun da anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131nda g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir y\u00f6ntemdir. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n amac\u0131 Metaverse Okulu olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan bir e\u011fitim grubunun \u201cMetevarse\u201d kavram\u0131na ili\u015fkin sahip olduklar\u0131 alg\u0131lar\u0131, metafor arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla ortaya \u00e7\u0131karmakt\u0131r. Ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n \u00f6rneklemini e\u011fitim alan gruptaki165 ki\u015fi olu\u015fturmu\u015ftur. Ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n verileri, nitel ara\u015ft\u0131rma y\u00f6ntemi ile toplanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmada i\u00e7erik analizi tekni\u011fi kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r ve olgu bilim a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan d\u00fczenlenmi\u015ftir. Her bireyden \u201cMetaverse \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026benzer, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u2026\u2026..\u201d c\u00fcmlesini tamamlamalar\u0131 istenerek veriler toplanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma sonu\u00e7lar\u0131na g\u00f6re; ki\u015filerin \u00f6\u011frenim g\u00f6rd\u00fckleri meteverse kavram\u0131na y\u00f6nelik 70 ge\u00e7erli metafor \u00fcretilmi\u015ftir. Bu metaforlar\u0131n ortak \u00f6zellikleri incelenmi\u015f olup 4 kategori alt\u0131nda topland\u0131\u011f\u0131 ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu kategoriler \u015fu \u015fekildedir: (1) Soyutluk, (2) Teknolojik, (3) Kurgusal, (4) Ya\u015famsal. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma bulgular\u0131 incelendi\u011finde, metaverse kavram\u0131na dair metaforlar\u0131n en \u00e7ok \u201csoyutluk\u201d kategorisinde yer alacak \u015fekilde \u00fcretildi\u011fi ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (%58,7). Di\u011fer kategoriler ise, birbirine yak\u0131n oranda ve %13\u2019lerde seyretmi\u015ftir. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma sonucunda elde edilen metaforlar ve yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 kategoriler ile metaverse kavram\u0131na y\u00f6nelik anlam ve alg\u0131 anla\u015f\u0131lmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular\u0131n; ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7 a\u015famas\u0131 olarak ifade edilen \u201canlama, anlatma ve uygulama\u201d a\u015famalar\u0131na katk\u0131s\u0131 olaca\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Anahtar Kelimeler: <\/strong>Metaverse, Metafor, \u0130\u00e7erik Analizi, Metaverse Metaforlar\u0131<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Giri\u015f<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Metaverse tek ba\u015f\u0131na bir kavram gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcnse de asl\u0131na bak\u0131l\u0131rsa bir ekosistem oldu\u011fu s\u00f6ylenebilir. Metaverse, pek \u00e7ok kavram \u00fczerine in\u015fa edilen ve ger\u00e7ek \u00f6tesi olarak anlamland\u0131r\u0131lan bir kavram olarak, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde Facebook\u2019un ad\u0131n\u0131n \u201cMeta\u201d olmas\u0131yla tart\u0131\u015f\u0131l\u0131r olmu\u015ftur. B\u00f6ylece, s\u00f6z konusu tart\u0131\u015fmalar ile birlikte bireylerin metaverse kavram\u0131n\u0131 ne \u015fekilde anlamland\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131, alg\u0131lad\u0131\u011f\u0131 da \u00f6nemli hale gelmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Metaverse \u015fimdilerde yeni bir kavram olarak ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f olsa da ilerleyi\u015fi \u00e7ok h\u0131zl\u0131 olmakta, \u00f6zellikle dijital oyun tasar\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n olduk\u00e7a ilgi g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi bir alan haline d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fmektedir. Hatta pek \u00e7ok sanal evrende yer alan arsa ya da mek\u00e2n olarak ifade edilen yerlerin NFT\u2019ler ile saha \u00e7ok dijital oyun d\u00fcnyas\u0131n\u0131n ba\u015f atlar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan sat\u0131n al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131 bildirilmi\u015ftir [22; 26].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Metaverse kavram\u0131n\u0131n hen\u00fcz tan\u0131mlamalar\u0131, fark\u0131ndal\u0131k \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 ve ileride ki\u015fileri nas\u0131l etkileyece\u011fi konular\u0131 ele al\u0131n\u0131rken, bir yandan h\u0131zl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde sanal evrende arsalar\u0131n sat\u0131n al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n duyulmas\u0131 ki\u015filerde kafa kar\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131 yaratmaktad\u0131r. Bu y\u00fczden ki\u015filer hen\u00fcz anlayamad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir sanal evren ile ilgili enformasyon bombard\u0131man\u0131na maruz kalmaktad\u0131r. Bu do\u011frultuda, metaverse\u2019in hen\u00fcz ilk a\u015famas\u0131n\u0131n \u201canlama, anlatma ve uygulama\u201d olmas\u0131 gereklili\u011fi g\u00fcndeme gelmi\u015ftir. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc do\u011fru anla\u015f\u0131lmayan bir konunun ne kadar sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 ilerleyebilece\u011fi tart\u0131\u015fma konusudur. Bu y\u00fczden metaverse kavram\u0131n\u0131n bireylerdeki fark\u0131ndal\u0131\u011f\u0131, ona y\u00fckledi\u011fi anlam ve alg\u0131 ve ifadesinin anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131 anlatma a\u015famas\u0131nda \u00f6nemli veri kayna\u011f\u0131 olacakt\u0131r [8].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Metaverse kavram\u0131na ekosistem olarak bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, harici geli\u015fmeler kapsam\u0131ndaki teknolojiler taraf\u0131ndan katalize edilen f\u00fct\u00fcristik ger\u00e7eklik, 5G ve yapay zek\u00e2, dijital \u201cb\u00fcy\u00fck patlama\u201d (Big Bang) siber uzay\u0131 uzak g\u00f6r\u00fcnmedi\u011fine y\u00f6nelik a\u00e7\u0131klamalar yay\u0131nlan\u0131rken [8; 10], bir yandan da, artt\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ger\u00e7eklik, kullan\u0131c\u0131 etkile\u015fimi (\u0130nsan- Bilgisayar Etkile\u015fimi \/Human-Computer Interaction), yapay zek\u00e2, blockchain, g\u00f6rme nesneleri, robotik ve bulut bilgi i\u015flem gelece\u011fin mobil a\u011flar\u0131 metaverse ekosisteminin etkin kullan\u0131m\u0131na izin verecek uygulamalar olarak ele al\u0131nmaktad\u0131r. Pek \u00e7ok kavram bombard\u0131man\u0131 i\u00e7erisinde, insanlar\u0131n metaverse denildi\u011finde \u00f6ncelikle ne anlad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n ve ne \u015fekilde anlamland\u0131rd\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n belirlenmesinde metafor \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 kolayl\u0131k sa\u011flamaktad\u0131r [13].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Metafor Yunanca \u201cMetapherein\u201d ya da \u201cMetafora\u201d k\u00f6klerinden t\u00fcremi\u015ftir. \u201cMeta\u201d de\u011fi\u015ftirmek, \u201cpherein\u201d ise ta\u015f\u0131mak, anlam\u0131ndad\u0131r [14]. T\u00fcrk\u00e7ede ise metafor kavram\u0131n\u0131n; daha \u00e7ok benzetmeler, e\u011fretilemeler, istiareler ve mecazlar \u015feklinde kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 belirtilmektedir [7]. Metafor asl\u0131na bak\u0131l\u0131rsa bir s\u00f6z fig\u00fcr\u00fc olmaktan ziyade bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce fig\u00fcr\u00fcd\u00fcr. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc ki\u015filer, s\u00f6z konusu kavramla ilgili metafor ifadesini belirtirken d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda dola\u015fmakta, ge\u00e7mi\u015f ya\u015fant\u0131s\u0131 ve yeni y\u00fckledi\u011fi bilgi deposuyla birlikte yorumlayarak alg\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 ortaya koymaktad\u0131r. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla ki\u015fiden ki\u015fiye anlamland\u0131rmalar farkl\u0131la\u015fabilmektedir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Metaforik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131yla tan\u0131nan Lakoff ve Johnson\u2019a g\u00f6re, metafor [12]; \u201cbir \u015feyi ba\u015fka bir \u015feyin bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131yla anlamak ve tecr\u00fcbe etmek, bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce malzemesini, insan kavray\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n bir \u015fekli ile ifade etme s\u00fcrecidir. Metafor, bir konuyu di\u011fer bir konunun bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan alg\u0131lamaya ve anlamaya izin veren zihindeki bilgiler aras\u0131nda bir ba\u011f kurma s\u00fcreci olarak tan\u0131mlanabilir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Metafor kullan\u0131larak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce \u00fcretme s\u00fcreci metaforik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lmakta olup kendi i\u00e7inde a\u015famalar\u0131 vard\u0131r [20]. Buna g\u00f6re; A\u00e7\u0131klanmak ya da anlamland\u0131r\u0131lmak istenen soyut bir olgu, durum, olay, kavram olmas\u0131, bu olguyu a\u00e7\u0131klamak i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lan somut (belirgin) bir olgu ve bu olgunun dilsel ifadesi, bu iki olgu aras\u0131nda kurulan ya da kurgulanan \u00f6zel denklikler (benze\u015fmeler) ile s\u00fcre\u00e7 ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmektedir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">B\u00f6ylece \u00f6ncelikle analizi yap\u0131lacak, \u00fczerinde \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lacak olan kavram\u0131n belirlenmesi gerekir. Bu olgu, durum ya da kavram metaforik analize uygun kapsama sahip olmas\u0131 gerekir ki, buradan geni\u015f bir bilgi da\u011farc\u0131\u011f\u0131 yelpazesi anla\u015f\u0131labilir. Bu a\u015famada, ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131n\u0131n do\u011fru kavram\u0131 se\u00e7mesi i\u00e7in ara\u015ft\u0131rma yapmas\u0131 gerekir ve sonraki a\u015famada, s\u00fcre\u00e7 katk\u0131 sa\u011flayacak bireylerle ilgili olmaktad\u0131r. Burada \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya kat\u0131lacak bireylerin sahip oldu\u011fu derinlik, zenginlik belirleyici olmaktad\u0131r. \u00dcretilen metaforlar\u0131n niteli\u011fi tamamen bu zemin \u00fczerinde ilerleyecektir. S\u00f6z konusu metafor ve kavrama y\u00f6nelik neden se\u00e7ildi\u011fi ara\u015ft\u0131rma s\u00fcrecine kat\u0131lan ki\u015filer taraf\u0131ndan a\u00e7\u0131klanmaktad\u0131r. K\u0131sa ama derinlemesine olarak yaz\u0131lan metaforun nedenine dair ifadeye ihtiya\u00e7 olmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00dclkemizde sosyal bilimlerin \u00e7e\u015fitli alanlar\u0131nda makale ve tez \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda pek \u00e7ok metaforik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar yap\u0131lmaktad\u0131r [1; 2; 3; 5; 7; 9; 11; 15; 16; 17; 18; 19; 21; 23; 24; 25].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu ba\u011flamda, ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n amac\u0131 metaverse kavram\u0131na y\u00f6nelik bir metafor \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 yaparak, metaverse kavram\u0131n\u0131 tan\u0131mlamak, metodolojisi ve \u00f6zelliklerini belirmekten ziyade metafor yoluyla metavers\u2019in bireylerde ne anlam ifade etti\u011fini ortaya koymakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong> Y\u00f6ntem<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>1.1. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Modeli <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ara\u015ft\u0131rmada, kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131n \u201cmetaverse\u201d kavram\u0131na y\u00f6nelik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerini ifade etmek amac\u0131yla olu\u015fturduklar\u0131 metaforlar\u0131 belirlemek i\u00e7in, alg\u0131 ve olaylar\u0131n ger\u00e7ek\u00e7i ve b\u00fct\u00fcnc\u00fcl bir bi\u00e7imde anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131na olanak sa\u011flayan ve derinlemesine analiz yap\u0131labilmesini sa\u011flayan nitel ara\u015ft\u0131rma y\u00f6ntemi kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Verilerin Analizi ve <\/strong><strong>Yorumlanmas\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ara\u015ft\u0131rmadan elde edilen verilerin analizi, nitel veri analizine uygun olarak y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f olup, elde edilen verileri s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131rmak ve bunlar \u00fczerinde \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131m yapmak amac\u0131yla verilerin analizinde \u201ci\u00e7erik analizi y\u00f6ntemi\u201d kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerini belirgin bir \u015fekilde ortaya koyan kavramlar, s\u00f6zc\u00fckler ve bunlar\u0131 \u015fekillendiren \u00f6zellikleri genel bir kategori haline getirmek amac\u0131yla veri analizinde ise a\u00e7\u0131k kodlama [6, s.85] uygulanarak ortak temalar belirlenmi\u015ftir. Daha sonra bu metaforlar incelenmi\u015ftir ve t\u00fcm metaforlar dikkate al\u0131narak de\u011ferlendirilmi\u015ftir. Buna g\u00f6re, 70 metafordan olu\u015fan bir \u201cmetafor tablosu\u201d elde edilmi\u015ftir. Metafor tablosunda en y\u00fcksek de\u011ferleri alan metaforlar Tablo 1\u2019de verilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0130kinci a\u015famada ise, kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar taraf\u0131ndan \u00fcretilen metaforlar\u0131n ortak \u00f6zellikleri incelenerek elde edilen 70 metaforun metaverse olgusunu nas\u0131l kavramsalla\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131na dikkat edilmi\u015ftir. B\u00f6ylece, olu\u015fturulan metaforlar kategorize edilmi\u015f, 4 farkl\u0131 kavramsal kategori olu\u015fturulmu\u015ftur. Bunlar; (1) Soyutluk, (2) Teknolojik, (3) Kurgusal, (4) Ya\u015famsal \u015feklindedir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tablo 2\u2019de g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc gibi kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131n e\u011fitim ald\u0131klar\u0131 metaverse kavram\u0131na y\u00f6nelik 70 ge\u00e7eli metafor \u00fcretilmi\u015ftir. B\u00f6ylece kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131n, yeni bir kavram olan metaverse kavram\u0131 ile ilgili \u00e7ok say\u0131da anlam ve alg\u0131ya sahip oldu\u011fu ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Tablolar incelendi\u011finde, metaverse kavram\u0131n\u0131n r\u00fcya ve sanal evren, paralel evren, hayal alemi gibi daha \u00e7ok soyut kavramlar ile a\u00e7\u0131kland\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Bu do\u011frultuda, 165 kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131 ile y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada, metaverse kavram\u0131na y\u00f6nelik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerini anlamak ve tan\u0131mak \u00fczerine sonu\u00e7lar ortaya koymas\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan nitel ara\u015ft\u0131rmaya uygun olan olgu bilim (fenomenoloji) deseni kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Metaverse okulu ad\u0131 alt\u0131nda bir e\u011fitim verilen 165 kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131ya e\u011fitimin sonunda bir form arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla a\u00e7\u0131k u\u00e7lu soru ile her bireyden \u201cMetaverse \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026benzer, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u2026\u2026..\u201d c\u00fcmlesini tamamlamalar\u0131 istenerek veriler toplanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 165 kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131n\u0131n ifadeleri i\u00e7erik analizi tekni\u011fi ile incelenmi\u015f, kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerini belirgin bir \u015fekilde ortaya koyan kavramlar, s\u00f6zc\u00fckler ve bunlar\u0131 \u015fekillendiren \u00f6zellikleri genel bir kategori haline getirmek amac\u0131yla veri analizinde a\u00e7\u0131k kodlama uygulanarak ortak temalar belirlenmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ara\u015ft\u0131rma sonucunda, metaverse kavram\u0131na y\u00f6nelik 70 metaforun \u00fcretildi\u011fi tespit edilmi\u015ftir. Yap\u0131lan kodlama ve ortak temalar\u0131n belirlenmesi ile ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen kategorize etme \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 sonucunda, \u201cSoyutluk\u201d, \u201cTeknolojik\u201d, \u201cKurgusal\u201d ve \u201cYa\u015famsal\u201d olarak 4 kategori belirlenmi\u015ftir. S\u00f6z konusu kategorilere \u00fcretilen metaforlar\u0131n da\u011f\u0131l\u0131m\u0131 ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n yap\u0131lmas\u0131 sonucunda metaverse kavram\u0131n\u0131n daha \u00e7ok soyutluk kategorisnde yer alacak \u015fekilde anlamlar\u0131n y\u00fcklendi\u011fi ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Di\u011fer kategoriler aras\u0131nda, soyutluk kategorisinde daha \u00e7ok kavram\u0131n yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f (%58,7) ve 97 ki\u015finin 27 farkl\u0131 kavram\u0131 \u00fcretti\u011fi belirlenmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Di\u011fer kategorilerin %13\u2019lerde seyretti\u011fi tespit edilmi\u015ftir. Buna g\u00f6re, iki kategoride 27\u2019\u015fer ki\u015fi yer alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bunlardan, \u201cya\u015famsal\u201d isimli kategoride 23 farkl\u0131 kavram \u00fcretilmi\u015f (%13,9), \u201ckurgusal\u201d isimli kategoride ise, 17 farkl\u0131 kavram \u00fcretilmi\u015ftir (%13,9). Son olarak, \u201cteknolojik\u201d kategorisinde 22 ki\u015fi 7 farkl\u0131 metafor \u00fcretmi\u015ftir. Teknoloji kategorisine oransal bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, %13,3 ile son s\u0131rada yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Her ne kadar metaverse, ger\u00e7ek \u00f6tesi olarak tan\u0131mlanarak ger\u00e7ek ya\u015famla ba\u011flant\u0131 sa\u011flayacak sanal bir evreni sunsa da, teknolojik olarak alg\u0131lanmaktan ziyade olduk\u00e7a soyut alg\u0131land\u0131\u011f\u0131 ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sonu\u00e7 olarak, asl\u0131nda tan\u0131m\u0131 i\u00e7inde yer alan \u201cger\u00e7ek \u00f6tesi evren\u201d ifadesi ki\u015filerin zihninde olduk\u00e7a yer etti\u011fi ve bu anlamda; \u201cparalel evren\u201d (%11,5), \u201csanal evren\u201d (%10,3) gibi daha \u00e7ok i\u00e7erisinde evren kelimesinin ge\u00e7ti\u011fi metaforlar\u0131n y\u00fcksek oranda \u00fcretildi\u011fi, s\u0131ralamada ilk \u00fc\u00e7te yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. It is about perception as it includes a seeing and understanding process. There are situations where an individual\u2019s expressing a simple concept with another concept is more important than its explanation. In this respect, it is a powerful process of making sense. Since it includes the experiences of the person, it is a powerful method for understanding the perceptual situation. The aim of this research is to reveal the perceptions of a training group called the Metaverse School regarding the concept of \u201cMetaverse\u201d through metaphor. The research sample consisted of 165 people in the training group. The data of the research were collected with the qualitative research method. Content analysis technique was used in the research and was organized in terms of phenomenology. Data were collected by asking each individual to complete the sentence \u201cMetaverse is similar to \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026, because \u2026\u2026..\u201d. According to the results of the research; 70 valid metaphors were produced for the concept of Metaverse in which people study. The common features of these metaphors were examined and it was revealed that they were grouped under 4 categories. These categories are as follows: (1) Abstraction, (2) Technological, (3) Fictional, (4) Vital. When the research findings were examine, it was revealed that the metaphors about the concept of Metaverse were mostly produced in such a way as to be included in the \u201cAbstraction\u201d category (58.7%). Other categories, on the other hand, were close to each other, at 13%. With the metaphors and categories obtained as a result of the research, the meaning and perception of the concept of Metaverse were tried to be understood. It is thought that the findings obtained as a result of the research will contribute to the \u201cunderstanding, explaining and applying\u201d stages, which are expressed as the initial
